ACMEE 2023 BRIEF REPORT
ACMEE 2023, India’s Premier International Machine Tools Show, 15th in the series, was successfully organised in Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai during 15-19 June 2023, by Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association, Chennai.
A record number of 435 participants including 105 International brands participated in the event spread over 19500 sqm space in seven exhibition halls.
Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, Thiru R.N. Ravi, inaugurated ACMEE 2023 at a glittering function on 15th June 2023.
Thiru Satyakam Arya, Managing Director & CEO, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd and Thiru Satish Sadasivan, Managing Director, Schunk Intek India were the Guests of Honour at the Inaugural Function.
In tune with the event’s theme of Smart Manufacturing, the participants presented a wide variety of machine tools adapting information technology in machinery designed to monitor production processes, automate manufacturing and the use of data analytics to improve manufacturing processes, cost reduction, time saving and mass production.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS
AIEMA
Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai, is one of the biggest and well established Industrial Estates in India. As many as 2000 units in the Estate are engaged in the manufacture of a variety of engineering goods, notably auto components, light engineering goods, consumer durables etc. Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association, commonly known as AIEMA, is the representative body of units in the estate. AIEMA has been organising ACMEE series of India's Premier International Machine Tools Show once in two years in Chennai since 1994. Over the years the event has grown considerably in terms of number of participants, visitors, exhibition area covered and business generated. AIEMA has successfully completed 60 years of illustrious service to the industry.
Tech Centre of AIEMA
Technology Centre (TC) of AIEMA, located at the ATC Road, Ambattur Industrial Estate, organizes regularly programs focusing on the latest technology in all aspects of manufacturing, machine tools, skill development for workmen, supervisors, executives of member units. TC has a modern CNC training centre for giving hands on training to workmen.
